In this sermon we again consider the purpose of God in His design of all things for Himself. The sovereignty of God is a core doctrine of scripture that believers must know in order to rest secure in the fulfillment of all of God's promises to them in Christ. To know that at no point is God ever out of control but has in fact purposed - made all things for Himself so that everything is by His design. The promise of salvation in Christ Jesus to believers cannot be frustrated by anything, be it our sin, evil men, angels, the Devil.... etc. The fulfillment of all of God's plans are dependent on God - non else. -Pastor J.
